Senior Drafter – Houston

Baker Oil Tools, a division of Baker Hughes, has an immediate need for a Senior Drafter located in

Northwest Houston. Only local candidates will be considered for this position.



Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of drafting duties in preparation of and/or revisions to drawings. Performs non-routine to complex tasks having distinctive design features that can differ significantly from established drafting precedents. Maintains and updates engineering records. Copies sketches, layouts and drawings prepared by others. May be assigned as a member of a project team and/or handles special projects as assigned. May perform some preparation of tools, test fixtures and/or testing with engineers.



Skill Requirements:

Basic knowledge of basic drafting techniques and CAD (AutoCAD, Microstation and SolidWorks). Ability to apply mathematical calculations to support tasks.



Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree in drafting disciplines or 2+ years of drafting experience preferred.
