As NEOgas’s Quality Assurance / Production Planning Manager based in our Houston, TX headquarters, you will have the chance to apply the breadth of your engineering background to address areas of quality and configuration control and take our company to the next level. NEOgas, Inc., headquartered in Spring, Texas, is a global energy services company focusing on the clean technology sector. It manufactures proprietary compressed natural gas (CNG) transport and dispensing equipment and bundles natural gas distribution services for major vehicular and industrial users in key emerging markets. Since 2001, through its Brazilian subsidiary, NEOgas do Brasil S.A., the Company has successfully developed and commercially proven that its proprietary HPU gas dispensing technology and its services business model significantly enhance the cost advantages of compressing, transporting and dispensing CNG when compared to other available off‐pipeline technologies. Leveraging on its commercial successes in Brazil, and with additional proprietary technology now under development, NEOgas is poised to realize the broader scope of its business plan with its continued expansion into the rest of the world.

Responsibilities:

• Configuration Control
  • Creation of drawings and product blueprints
  • Formal requirements definition
• Supplier/internal auditing to ISO9000.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and customers.
  • Investigate supplier quality problems and recommend corrective actions
  • Conduct supplier audits and approvals.
• Lead ISO certification initiatives and ensure an ISO level of accountability.
• Monitor that customers have appropriate spare parts inventory and that NEOgas is carrying the appropriate level of inventory.

Required knowledge/skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• In depth quality engineering experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities. Experience with High Pressure Gas ideal.
• Experience in an ISO manufacturing environment and an understanding of ISO standards and conformance.
• Expertise in supplier management.
• Demonstrated ability to improve quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Must be ok with 25% travel internationally with heavier travel possible initially.
• An understanding of how to conduct business in foreign territories.
• ASQ certification (CQE/CRE/CQM/CQA/RABQSA) preferred but not required
