Manager Drilling Applications Engineering – Houston

Responsibilities:

Plans and conducts research, develops and executes phases of larger project or a total project of moderate complexity. Participates in vendor interface. Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposals. Plans, conducts and supervises assignments. Reviews progress and evaluates results. May have personnel responsibilities or may be responsible for a process. Performs field testing of prototype tools and components and provides feedback to both internal and external customers. Provides product and application support. Develops technical documentation. Provides technical training on the use of all new products and engineering software. Initiates sustaining engineering upon the identification of deficient product performance. Handles special projects, as assigned.

Skill Requirements:

Knowledge of analysis, research and development efforts of the product line. Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent project management skills.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, or Science. 10+ years experience in oilfield services industry including 5+ years management or supervisory experience.
