Description
Role Objectives:
. Perform DEI Tools development and support.
You will do this by:
. Gathering and updating requirements and design artifacts for the DEI Tools applications
. Designing, coding and testing new functionality in DEI Tools
. Automating and performing tests of modifications
. Maintaining and supporting DEI Tools application
. Supporting deployment and reuse efforts by other business lines within JPMC
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
. Java/J2EE expertise, especially applied to Web-based GUI development
. Knowledge of Unix / Linux environments, with advanced knowledge of shell/Perl scripting
. Working knowledge of web development frameworks including Groovy or Grails is a plus
. Experience working with Tomcat or other application server
. Expert PL/SQL / Oracle skills
. Experience with maintaining and modifying DB models, specifically on an Oracle platform
. Experience with reporting tools preferred (examples include Business Objects, Open Reports, BIRT, Jasper reports)
. Use of eclipse or similar IDE
. SCM / version control experience, particularly using subversion
. Strong communication skills
. Experience in working with a globally distributed team is an advantage
. Structured disciplined approach
. Analytical, flexible and pragmatic
. Knowledge of static code analysis tools or code metrics is an advantage
