Position: Human Resources Director - International Oil and Gas
Our Houston, TX client is looking for an HR Manager to oversee all HR functions for their International Oil and Gas company. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in a management role.
Requirements:
Previous managerial experience
Previous HR experience in the Oil and Gas industry
Employee relation, industrial relations and organizational development
Coordinate all HR policies
HR Planning and Resourcing
Recruiting and interviewing potential candidates - placing ads, interviewing, and orientation
Experience with employee termination and exit interviews
Knowledge with staying in compliance with state and federal regulations - filing all government reports, unemployment, I-9, and Cobra, OSHA and labor laws
Good organizational skills
5 + years experience as an HR generalist
Job Description:
Develop and implement a People strategy plan that is linked to business plans and objectives
Ensuring employee communications strategies are in place with business
Maintain and efficient recruitment process, including monitoring the compliance to recruitment process standards
Ensure that the provision of employee of employee benefits is consistent
Ensure all HR policies are market compertitive, cost effective and in line with the company's people and business strategies
Maintain a safe and environmentally effective working environment
