The Residence Inn by Marriott Houston Westchase on Westheimer (at Elmside), 9965 Westheimer, Houston, Texas, 77042, seeks talented individuals to join our staff. We have multiple openings for:
HOUSEKEEPERs, FULL TIME: Ensures that all guestrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to the Company standards both in quality and in quantity. Replaces any used amenities and report any maintenance concerns. Completely re-stocks cart at end of every shift. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift heavy loads and push housekeeping cart.
Position requires excellent guest service skills. Must be available to work a flexible FULL-TIME rotating AM/PM schedule (Mon-Fri 8-4:30p; Sat-Sun 9-5:30p/rotating).
HOUSEKEEPING AIDE-PM, FULL TIME: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel's public spaces (vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc), including restrooms. May have responsibility for guestroom turndown. May be required to clean guest rooms and stock/deliver linens as needed and fulfill any guest delivery requests. Notifies the Housekeeping Management or the Engineering Department of any maintenance or repair that needs to be done.
Position requires excellent guest service skills and availability to work a flexible rotating AM/PM schedule (3-11pm, 7-3p rotating).
HOUSEKEEPER-GENERAL CLEAN/PREVENTIVE MTCE, FULL TIME: Provides heavy duty cleaning, general maintenance and minor repairs of guest rooms to maintain the Company standards. Must have a basic knowledge of engineering building maintenance skills. Duties include, but not limited to, shampooing carpets, cleaning vents, edge vacuuming, cleaning windows, flipping mattresses, changing filters, minor repairs and furniture touchup.
Position requires excellent guest service skills and availability to work a flexible AM/PM schedule (8:30a-5p).
