CDI Engineering is searching for an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team; join CDI today.
Qualified candidate has at least 5 years of recent, relevant experience performing electrical design duties.
Must be knowledgable in all aspects of electrical design including, but not limited to the following:
Lighting, grounding, power distribution, heat tracing, area classifications and motor controls.
Experience in developing one-lines, motor schematics, P&I drawings is required.
Previous work in a chemical plant environment is highly desired.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microstation is required.
Must also have working knowledge of NEC, PLC, DCS, MCC, etc.
PDS, SmartPlant and PDMS software is preferred.
