Banquet Servers and Bartenders, Houston Marriott West Loop – Houston

The Houston Marriott West Loop by The Galleria, 1750 West Loop South, Houston, Texas 77027, seeks talented individuals to join our staff. We have multiple openings for:

BANQUET SERVER, FULL TIME: Responsible for assisiting in the set up of function rooms, providing service during the function (serve plated meals, tend food stations, etc.), and clean-up and break down of rooms. Sets up coffee breaks and bars as needed. Must be TIPS & TABC certified. Hotel experience preferred.

Position requires excellent guest service skills and availability to work a flexible AM/PM schedule, based on events scheduling.

BARTENDER-BANQUETS, PART TIME: Responsible for maintaining a bar as part of a banquet function; creating and preparing beverages in accordance with customer or menu specifications; taking orders, serving food and beverage items to customers in a fast paced environment while maintaining the overall appearance and sanitation of the bar area. Position may be responsible for cash handling and must do so in accordance with the Company's cash handling policy and procedures. Completes liquor requisitions, sets up and/or closes the bar area following established procedures. Must meet any state and/or federal legal requirements associated with employment in this position (including TIPS & TABC certified). Hotel experience preferred.

Positions requires excellent guest service skills; must be available to work a flexible PM schedule, based on event. (not more than 20 hrs/wk).
